Social interACTING Class

Sundays: 2:00pm - 3:00pm

The purpose and mission of The All The World's A Stage Program is to provide a safe, fun, and therapeutic environment for people with Autism, Asperger's, Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, and others with social communication challenges to learn and practice skills in human interaction through dramatic role plays and acting games.

Our Consultant and Associate Instructor for the All The World’s A Stage Program is Barbara McFadden. Barbara has over thirty years of experience working in the field of Autism, Asperger’s, and other learning and behavioral challenges. She graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Psychology and Exceptional Student Education, and is currently serving as the district coordinator for Autism Programs for Brevard County Public Schools. Barbara believes in focusing on a person’s strengths and interests to help them build confidence and success.

Studio News

Ballet/Jazz Combo
Covering the exciting elements beginning ballet, jazz, and lyrical technique; This class is designed to teach students an appreciation of dance by incorporating proper technique and etiquette.

Tap
In this class, students will be introduced to basic tap steps and combinations with an emphasis on musical theater tap styles.

Creative Playwriting
This unique class teaches students 2nd grade and up to express themselves through the art of creative playwriting. Students will learn to develop characters in a script, storyboard ideas, and create compelling material to be performed on stage by their peers!
